Coffee Jelly is the ultimate dessert, popular in Japan. You will also find it in many Asian dessert cafes. Coffee Jelly is a delicious combination of coffee-flavored jelly cubes and a thick, sweet, coffee-infused cream.

Coffee Jelly is the ultimate dessert because it combines two favorite treats, Jell-O & creamy ice cream flavor.

What You Need:

Water

Instant Coffee: We use Nescafe Taster’s Choice House Blend, Find HERE. Nescafe also has a French Roast Blend, and a Decaf Instant Coffee as well!

Sugar

Unflavored Gelatin: We use Knox, Find HERE.

Condensed Milk

Heavy Cream

– Creamy Coffee Jelly Dessert –

Ingredients:

Coffee Jelly:

4 cups of water
2 tablespoons of Nescafe Instant Coffee House Blend.
1/2 cup of sugar
1 oz of Knox unflavored gelatin

Coffee-Infused Cream:

2 cups of heavy cream
7 oz of condensed milk
1 tablespoon of Nescafe Instant Coffee House Blend.
2 tablespoons hot water

Instructions:

Coffee Jelly:

In a pot, bring 3 cups of water to a boil. Add the instant coffee and sugar. Stir until dissolved.
In a large bowl, pour 1 cup of COLD water. Sprinkle the gelatin into the bowl of water. Let it stand for 1 minute or until it begins to bloom.
Add the boiling coffee mixture to the bowl and stir constantly for about 3 minutes or until the gelatin is completely dissolved.
Pour mixture into a baking dish and allow to cool for 8-10 minutes. Refrigerate for 2 hours or until set completely.
Once the gelatin has set, cut into cubes, whatever size you desire.

Coffee-Infused Cream:

In a deep container pour heavy cream and condensed milk.
Dissolve 1 tablespoon of instant coffee in 2 tablespoons of HOT water. Add to heavy cream and condensed milk.
Stir until well combined.
Pour coffee-infused cream over coffee jelly in desired cup or add coffee jelly to coffee-infused cream and chill until ready to enjoy!
